UNIVERSITY PATHWAY GUIDE

Did you know that Malaysian students can pursue their Bachelors Degree in Germany for free? Yes that’s right !
Most German public universities offer free degree courses. German universities are well-known for providing high-quality education; many of them are ranked among the best in the world.

For Malaysians to pursue their Bachelors Degree in Germany, they first have to meet several requirements.
German Universities require students to have 13 years of education before they may pursue their Bachelors Degree in Germany.
Academic requirement for Malaysians:
STPM, A-Levels, or International Baccalaureate (IB), AUSMAT.
For STPM, a minimum of 5 subjects are required with 3 subjects from SPM and 2 or 3 subjects from STPM.

For A-levels, both Cambridge and Edexcel are accepted and can even be done in a combination of eachother. The subjects that you take must include a language a maths/science and subjects that are related to degree you wish to study in university.
For other Pre-University courses, the student will need to submit their academic transcripts to us after which their eligibility will be check. If they are deemed eligible then they may directly pursue their Bachelors program, if not, the student will have to go through a 10 month German foundation course known as Studienkolleg before pursuing their Bachelors Program.

Language Requirements:
While most German Universities offer zero tuition fees, students are required to meet specific German language requirements, as many Bachelor Degree programs are taught in German. So, the student will be required to achieve B2 Level or C1 Level (TestDaf) German Language Certification depending on the language requirements of their chosen University.
Of course, there are some universities that conduct English Bachelor Programs, therefore an IELTS /TOEFL will also be required for those courses.
