IELTS
The International English Language Testing System, is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. Academic IELTS is accepted by over 9,000 institutions globally as evidence of English proficiency. The General Training IELTS can be used by individuals who wish to migrate to countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.

The St. Marian's Study Abroad IELTS Training Program teaches students various strategies and tips for taking their test in order to help them achieve their maximum result. Throughout this program, students will be taught through various exercises that can build their skills in answering all types of questions that they could be tested on. We ensure that students get acquainted with the IELTS test format and also improve their confidence in test areas such as writing, reading, speaking and listening in English.
Students may opt between two available IELTS Tests -IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training - depending on what they want to do. Both test are graded in the exact same way and comprises of 4 testable elements which are Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
IELTS Academic
IELTS Academic measures your English proficiency level and whether you are a suitable fit for an English based academic environment. This test measures aspects of academic language and evaluates if you are ready to start your academic course.
When should I take this test?

The IELTS General Training measures your English language proficiency in a practical, day-to-day context. Here, your tasks and tests will be based on language in the workplace as well as social situations.
